Mission Viejo (November 8, 2007) - SLIM Search has joined the Bio IT Alliance, following an invitation of Microsoft.

MicrosoftThe founder of SLIM Search, Dr. Leonard Bloksberg has presented a seminar to scientists in Redmond on the possibilities, SLIM Search enables for New Generation Sequencing and Personalized Medicine.

The focus of the membership is SLIM Search brings high-performance computing to the ubiquitous Microsoft platforms and introduce new scientific possibilities and genomics search capabilities.

Formed in 2006, the BioIT Alliance is a cross-industry group working together to improve biomedical information technology on the Microsoft platform.
